This position reports to: R&D Team Manager

 

Your role and responsibilities

 

At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our team as an intern. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work closely with our experienced scientists on exciting projects that contribute to real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the research and development of new components/materials for Medium Voltage Switchgears • Conduct measurements, experiments and analyze data • Collaborate with the team members to solve technical challenges • Prepare reports and presentations on findings • Support of the team in daily tasks

 

Qualifications for the role

 

• III or IV year student at the Faculty of Material Science, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •Excellent communication and teamwork abilities •Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and safety protocols •Passion for innovation and sustainability •Ability to use power tools •Knowledge of CAD programs will be an advantage
